Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept all major Credit Cards as well as Paypal, via our secure online payments server. Cards will be charged at the time of order.

If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling Postage and packing on all orders, to UK addresses, is £3.95, regardless of the number of plants ordered.

Unfortunately, due to the changes in customs and Phytosanitary Certificate requirements post Brexit, it is not now possible for us to send plants or sundries to Northern Ireland.

We can dispatch to everywhere on the mainland UK, including the Channel Islands, Scottish Islands, Isle of Wight and the Isle of Man. We cannot send plants, or sundries, to the EU or anywhere in the rest of the world.
Delivery Schedule All plants are dispatched as rooted plugs, using Royal Mail First Class post.

The earliest that we can send plants out is the week beginning Monday 27th January 2020. During February and March we propagate to your individual requirements, so we need 28 days to produce your order. From April onwards we usually have stock of all varieties readily available and orders are normally dispatched within seven days of receipt, however, please allow up to 21 days for delivery. Orders will be acknowledged by email. Sundries might be sent separately, see individual product pages for details. Gift Vouchers will be send on receipt of your order.

You will be asked to select a suitable delivery date, for your plants, during the checkout process.

You must inform us within seven working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. When contacting us please quote your name, the date that you placed your order and your postcode to enable us to answer your query effectively.

Back Orders Plants are grown specifically to your order, so back orders are not applicable.
Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is included in the price.
Credit Card Security We're passionate about the service we offer and that includes our approach to security. Your payment is handled by Sellerdeck Payments, which is powered by Creditcall. Creditcall is a payment service provider and payment gateway based in the UK, providing credit card authorisation and settlement services to banks and processors in the United Kingdom, and worldwide. Through Creditcall, we have also enabled 3D Secure (Verified by Visa and SecureCode by MasterCard). This is an additional check to confirm no one but you is using your card. This box may appear and ask you to enter a selection of characters from your password e.g. first, third and fifth character. So don't be alarmed if this additional check appears.

We are enrolled with the Trustwave Trusted Commerce program. Their seal, on our homepage, indicates that Chrysanthemums Direct have taken security measures to protect your credit card numbers and other sensitive information and are fully PCI DSS compliant.
Guarantee All the plants we send out are propagated on and dispatched from our nurseries in Cheshire. You will receive top quality plants, in perfect condition for planting out. These plants should grow and perform very well. However, for your peace of mind, all our plants are guaranteed for seven days after receipt. If you are not entirely happy with your plants, please contact us as soon as possible and we will offer a refund or a free replacement order. We do our best to send out plants that are true to name but, very occasionally, mistakes can occur. Please contact us if, when your plants flower, they are not true to name, but in these circumstances, and any other, our liability is limited only to the value of the plants. Payments by cards are not handled by us, you will be directed to the Sellerdeck Payments website, powered by CreditCall. We never see, and never have access to your card details.

If you order by sending us an order form from our catalogue:

If you order by telephone:
We will enter your name, address, telephone number and email address directly into our ordering software, while you are on the telephone, so that we can process the order and send your order to you. We will use your address to post you a copy of our catalogue for two years after your last order. When we confirm the order we are taken to the Sellerdeck Payments website, powered by CreditCall, where we enter your card details, as you give them to us, and the payment is processed. After this we never see nor have access to your card details.


If you give us your details, at a flower show, to request a copy of our catalogue, we will add your address to our mailing database to send you a copy of our next catalogue. If you supply your email address we will add this to our database to send you an email newsletter on a monthly basis. This information is not shared with any third parties.

Our order processing software and databases are installed on modern, up to date computers that are protected by passwords, anti-virus and firewall software. Only approved personnel are given access to these computers. You can contact us at any time to request us to correct your details if they are wrong, or to remove your details permanently from our systems. If you do so you will not receive catalogues, or emails, from us and it will not be possible to answer queries about your orders. Your details will be removed from our catalogue mailing list two years after your last order was placed. We retain invoice details electronically, to satisfy HMRC requirements, for six years after you place the order. After this they are deleted from our systems.

Returns Policy Your rights in regard to any purchase made from us are covered by The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us via email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Any goods returned should be in saleable condition.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way.
